Ride along Chesleigh`s old Cobb and Co Coach roads, see all the crumbling mining relics and signs of the old gold settlements. Travel to all these historical sites, these will show visitors interesting and educational sites.
Thy are the only place in Sofala where you can learn how to pan for gold – cross your fingers to ‘find your fortune’. You have miles of creeks, borrow a pan from the hosts and hone your new found skills. Your camera will surely find goldn moments to immortalise.
Fish for trout in the rivers and if you get lucky- take it back for your dinner, go yabbying in the dams teach your children these skills.
