Minimbah is 2 hours and 25 minutes from Sydney CBD, located upon acreage, and is a beef cattle property in Kangaroo Valley.
Access is via The Waterfalls Route, or The Panoramic View Route. Whichever you choose during mist or rain please drive slowly, and carefully on these winding mountain passes, as the road surfaces can be very slippery.
There is four self contained cottages and is suitable for groups, families or couples, as well as larger groups – weddings, yoga groups, wellbeing retreats. Minimbah cottages and property is close to the village. But the farm and the self contained cottages are well away from the traffic and the Kangaroo Valley main road.
Say “Hello” to cows – Feed the alpacas and collect all those eggs (when the hens are laying).
Walk from Minimbah to the Kangaroo Valley Village only about 2 klms. The village is really quaint and offers many Cafes and Restaurants and also specialty shops and even two convenience shops.
Activities closeby in Kangaroo Valley include walking along the river, Canoeing, Bushwalking, Swimming, Golf, and Tennis. There is also a Pioneer Museum and visits to Wineries and Cellar Doors.
Csottage have a full kitchen with a fridge, microwave and a cook top with oven. Each has a TV, DVD, and a CD player. Linen is all supplied. The Cottage, Old Homestead and Budderoo House have wood burning slow combustion fires.
There is also a washing machine for your convenience if you really want to wash.
At this accommodation, you can chill out and relax in privacy out on the decks, or take a slow relaxing nature walk over the farm. The farm has plenty of lovely natural features, domesticated animals and wildlife.
