Comeroo Camel Station – Bourke – Outback NSW

Comeroo Camel Station is a huge 100,000 acre cattle ranch. It has been proudly owned in the same Aussie family for almost 100 years.

It is located on banks of the Cuttaburra Creek, and like the saying it is literally ‘Out the Back of Bourke,’ – 8hrs 52 mins from Sydney CBD.

There are camels, sheep and cattle here.

They offer farmstay accommodation in simple quite basic bungalows, also camping and caravan sites. They do also offer a more traditional type of country accommodation – Bed and Breakfast. Many people choose the All Meals Included Package. Let mum have a rest too – their food is excellent!

You can be sure to enjoy the convivial campfires, sing-alongs, their fire pit and BBQs. Enjoy some bush tucker!

Meals are delicious and generous in size. There is also a real Aussie bar here – whatever your day has been like make sure you find time to swap a tale or two and an ice cold beer in the evening – in Chris’ corrugated iron bar.

You can fish, yabby, canoe. Soak in a natural hot artisian bore with healthy minerals. You can bushwalk in every directions for hours, THIS is the true red earthed Australia!

Suitable for a family, singles, couples or even a group.

Go on a bumpy camel ride,  or enoy just a camel carriage ride. Learn all about camels – make a friend with one – maybe even go on a trek!

You are welcome to cook your own meals in the clean and well equipped communal camp kitchen, using the communal fridge. Even a laundry is provided for your use.

For campers there are toilets and showers for the camp sites.
