Cooinda – Kangaloon – Southern Highlands – NSW

Cooinda at Kangaloon is a relaxing, happy place 1 hr and 41 minutes from Sydney CBD in the Southern Highlands where families or groups are very welcome – most guests are wanting to escape the hectic ‘grey’ of the city.


The house has panoramic views of gently rolling countryside.  The accommodation enjoys a lovely sunny aspect with views from all the living areas. The house area is well fenced with a flat area for children to play – and there is a  cubby house and swings and play frame too.

Farm animals consist of only of 4 alpacas and there are some cattle in some of the outer paddocks.

The accommodation has been set up with larger groups and your comfort in mind. The kitchen is has been freshly renovated and it is well facilitates even  including a dishwasher. An outdoor BBQ is located on your back porch. There are several living areas in all – formal and casual living and dining areas.

There is a large wood heater, and also an open fireplace too – all wood is supplied – bring the marshmallows!!

Both bathrooms have been newly renovated.

Cooinda sleeps 12 in 5 bedrooms, three with Queens, one for a family with 2 singles and a double. And another one with 2 single beds.

There is a maximum of 16 able to be accommodated if you use the double sofa futons in the living areas as well.

Linen is only provided for beds in bedrooms. There are extra charges for other linens, to supply portacots and highchairs and there is a $100 surcharge to bring a dog.

$1805 for a 2 night Standard Weekend for 4 persons

$2055 for a 4 night Standard Midweek for 4 persons

Please note that school holidays and holiday/special event weekends are not considered standard times in most accommodations.
