Cox’s River Rest is situated in the Megalong Valley on 464 acres – and is 2 hrs and 07 minutes from Sydney CBD. While the farm animals here are horses, you do have lots of countryside around you.
Three accommodation houses – all very different – spaced way apart on the property
First in their line up is Warialda Cottage
Warialda is a unusual 3 bedroom house it has bee built from natural earth and is powered off-the-grid with solar energy system. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them have queen beds, in the other 1 double bed. It has an open upstairs loft area this area has 3 more single beds.
It has a bathroom with a shower and bath, and also has 2 toilets – as well as a laundry with washer.
The kitchen offers a gas stove and also a oven, a microwave, a kettle, plenty of cutlery and crockery. There is a gas BBQ on the deck for a great outdoor ‘real Aussie feast’ – throw the proverbial ‘shrimp on the barbie’.
The main room is open pan – so you can stay part of the laughter and games on your vacation. Maximum of 9 people in 6 beds.
$16 extra charge per person for towels and linen.
It’s a further 25 minutes from Blackheath in The Blue Mountains, the property is quite easy to find.
This country property offers wonderful walks, and beautiful vistas. Maps are provided at your cottage for your use.

This Holiday House accommodates up to 12 people – it has what your group needs for a weekend country escape. Linen and towels are not included – it is a further $16 per person.
