This stylish little cottage is located on a working cattle station 3 hrs 27 minutes from Sydney CBD near the town of Jugiong. the cottage has a colourful past and the Rabbiter’s now offers all the creature comforts of today – while its infamous folklore charm remains present in the aged timber floor and rustic walls.
The Rabbiter’s is in a paddock bordered by the Murrumbidgee River its also 9 kms off the Hume Highway ‘on the road to Gundagai’ – the Rabbiter’s hut makes an ideal overnight stop on the way to Canberra, a great week-end retreat, or even as its own holiday destination.
It is air conditioned and has an open fireplace.
You can do laundry if needed as there is a washing machine
Pets are allowed. Children are not. There are no farm animals.
Accommodation includes 2 bedrooms the main bedroom offers air conditionin a dressing room and new bathroom.
Linen and towels are provided. there is a Brand new Bathroom.
The living space includes a rustic eat-in kitchen with an open fire leading onto the sitting room and there is a sun filled office and reading room.
Folding doors from the lounge room which open onto a covered porch that has a wonderful view down to the river.
A mud room provides for your muddy boots after exploring all the the hills and valleys that surround this charm-filled little historical hut.
The Hut is not able to accommodate children.
