Tips and Hints for a great NSW Farmstay

What to Pack for your Farm Adventure – You won’t be able to ‘Duck Out’ and Buy it!

Outerwear
2 Long Sleeved Tops – at least one that can get dirty
2 Tee Shirts
2 Pairs of any long pants that can get dirty
1 Warm Outer Layer Polar Fleece, Pullover, Jumper
1 Parka
1 Pair of Gloves
1 Warm Beanie or Hat
1 Raincoat
1 Warm Tracksuit for Cold Evenings
1 Bathing Suit and Towel in case their is a local pool
1 Pair of Comfortable Shoes with Good Grip (boots, old tennis shoes, etc)
1 pair of Gumboots (weather depending)

Underwear
4 Pairs of Undies
4 Pairs of Socks, (wool or natural materials is best)
1 Pair of Long Underwear, if you have them

Accessories Broad Brimmed Sun Hat
1 pair of Sunglasses
Sunscreen First Aid Kit
Insect spray Clothes Washing Soaker Firelighters Hayfever medication if you suffer from allergies
Notebook
Pen and/or pencils
Large water bottle
Day pack (can hold water bottle, notebook, sunscreen, etc for a day trip or outdoor walking)
Camera (optional as nowadays most people use their phones) Most Farms won’t have Internet so check if you need your devices

Toiletries
Toothbrush
Soaps
ALL Other personal items – don’t expect little shampoos & lotions on a farm!
